I am Mike Moreland and the first and most important thing you need to know about me is – I LOVE WHAT I DO !!!!!!!!! To have a career that allows me to follow my strong passion to create artistic images and share them with my clients is truly a blessing.

 
I enjoy every aspect of photography – getting to know my clients, students and fellow photographers is a huge part of that pleasure. When a shoot is over, I can hardly wait to get back to the studio to view the images I just created. I love to talk PHOTOGRAPHY – to anyone, anywhere – all day long!!!  I have had the pleasure of being a professional photographer for over 25 years. This depth and range of knowledge and experience has given me the opportunity to share what I know with others, no matter what the level of photography.
I spent 15 years as a commercial photographer, specializing in architecture, fashion and advertising. I then took that experience into the Wedding and Portrait field. I graduated from the Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California, which is considered by many as the top photography school in the world. My work has been published hundreds of times in national magazines and books. Recently, my achievements was profiled in Rangefinder Magazine as one of the top wedding photographers in the country. The Association of Certified Professional Wedding Consultants awarded me the “Professionals’ Choice Award Atlanta ”. This was a highlight among the numerous local, national and international photography competition awards that I have received during my career.
My newest passion is sharing what I have learned over the years. I am now teaching customized workshops (or Safaris!) – - teaching, photo techniques that apply to family portraits, high school seniors, weddings, maternity, newborns, tasteful boudoir and commercial portraits.
