We have a few very important shout outs to students! We always host and in-house contest for our Intro Workshops! After the workshop, students submit their images and one lucky student wins a free workshop! The winner for our October 11th Intro Workshop is Ashley!!

Congratulations Ashley! Your image stood out to Mike among the rest. You captured a beautiful moment between are two models, just laughing and having a good time! We always appreciate a little post editing, even though we don’t let it sway our final vote.

Another one of Ashley’s images made it as a runner up! Great angle, beautiful detail. Great work, Ashley!

We also need to mention a few runner ups, you guys had great stuff! Don’t be discouraged, and keep coming to more workshops!

First up, Amanda! Amanda we love this moment! It’s one of the best things about photography, everyone sees things differently. We love this snapshot in between takes. AmandaSaechang067malemodel

Another shot of Amanda’s: We also love this shot of Mica, peeking over her book. Like she was caught in the moment of reading.

And Stephanie! Great job post processing. First of all, your image is tact sharp and correctly exposed. We love the attitude that overtakes this image with the introduction of making the image sepia. Good Work!

Another runner up is Susan! This is a great head shot, moody, correct exposure and beautiful texture! We might just crop in a little bit to avoid the appearance of a large belly. We know from being at the workshop, it’s just the angle he was slouched against the wall but that overall he’s more fit. By cropping up, the viewer would still see a fit man.

As always, a HUGE thank you to both our models, and our students for coming to our Introduction Photography Workshop!
